Present Project Progress
With the invitation of Mahinda Vidyalaya principal Mr. Gamini Jayawardana donated a multimedia projector on January 4, 2017 to implement Educational Development Project in Mahinda Vidyalaya, Galle. Students from Grade 8 to GCE (AL) use the projector to view selected videos from EDP, when teachers are absent or after school.
Due to students demand for EDP, with the participation of school parents association and old Mahindians Association more than 6 projectors and monitors are presently being used for this project. The student participation of educational activities has improved steadily. Similarly, studentís morale, confidence and results of public exams have improved. Mahinda Vidyalaya had the Southern Province best AL results average in 2017, from all the schools in the Southern province.

Implemented the EDP on 06 December 2017 in Sangamiththa Vidyalaya from the invitation of principal Mrs. Chandani Udakumbura. Donated multimedia projector with educational material by Mahinda Vidyalaya principal Mr. Gamini Jayawardhana. The projector was donated by alumnus Mrs.Swinitha Tissera (Amarasingha, Canada). The EDP program implementation is in progress.
